• first of all, the main girl Jan Dei constantly cries in this drama. every single episode she cries so much for no apparent reasons and each time she does, my awkawd face stares at the screen and thinks "not again..."
  
• theres always flashbacks in dramas, always! its like their memory are 100% accurate and has the ability to remember everything. its like they purposely added the flashbacks, thinking that we cant remember what happened in the previous episode. i bet the only reason dramas include heaps of flashbacks is to fill up the space
  
• im sure everyone notices this when watching asian  dramas, the weird awkawd kissing scene. i watched one specific espisode yesterday when the 2 main character kissed. its those weird moment when both the characters just freeze and the camera angle goes 360 around them. it lasted over 10 seconds, and look both look completely lost.
  
• theres always an 'evil' or a 'good' character and for some reason the girl always ends up with the bad character! it makes me mad as a viewer to witness this and definitely annoys me. sure it adds the tension within the dramas but does that imply that all girls go to the bad guys? this also occured in the Devil Beside You drama.
  

                                                                       
i think this is why i prefer english movies, simple and does not drag on and on. this holiday i have already watched night in museum 2, bolts (its so cute =D), HSM 3 (only watched it because my little sisters wanted to), bedtime stories, transformers 2 (the effects were awesome!!! + megan fox is hawt LOL) i have 5 more episodes to go! while i watch drama, my homework pile is just collecting dust ..

Woah a huge 7 months gap, I feel like I have abandoned this journal. While the boredom has pretty much killed me in this holiday, ill just write whatever comes in my mind to pass some time. Its freezing, its cold, and I look like those Eskimos, currently wearing 3 jumpers with still no satisfaction of warmth.

Well half of year 12 has already gone by pretty fast, and the deadly semester 2 has already begun >< let the torture begin! Speaking of which, I’ve started organising what I’m going to dress up of muck up day. Yes yes, Huong + pokemon = perfect! My goal is to look exactly like Ash, wonder if I can tackle this one out. I originally wanted to dress up as Pikachu but someone has already stolen the idea in last year sports carnival. So, I have my pokeballs, Pikachu and yesterday I bought green and yellow materials to make the gloves. Now the only thing on my list is a red/white cap and the blue shirt with yellow strips, which is the main clothing I’m worried about. I am clueless in operating a sewing machine, so how on earth can I produce it, well time will tell. I recently went on the ebay to look for some similar Ash’s clothing and on one site they were sell the whole package, with miniature Pikachu attached as a bonus. I was so impressed, scrolled down to observe the price. $99 … my cheap asian instinct pretty much told me I can produce all that for less than half the price. I also saw costumes of Pikachu, charmander and even jigglypuff on ebay, they look totally awesome. If I wear the jigglypuff costume, I would not be able to fit through the doorway. Well, in a few months time ill look like this! ^^

Since holiday has increased my addiction of television, one show that made both my sister and I bawl our eyes out in laughter was the interview between Bruno and Rove. Bruno was originally the actor who impersonated Ali G and Borat. He can sure maneuver his personality easily and is quite a hilarious character. Rove couldn’t stop laughing and he had to sacrifice himself by wearing a costume which Bruno had made, which was hilarious with a touch of embarrassment. Also Chasers War on Everything has gone back come back on air. They are truly the legend of pranking the politicians.

Few more weeks till I reach my adulthood. Some friends of mine would always say “when you 18, buy me alcohol” my most obvious response would be “who the heck would supply alcohol to a short asian girl!” I’m planning to bring my family to each yumcha to celebrate it earlier before school starts. I have not eaten yum cha in years so the craving has began. Ahh my mum just finished cooking pho, I shall head off to fill my stomach XD

Its officially new years eve now and I’ve just realize the year is quietly coming to an end ... feels like time has just fast-forward itself and the end is finally here. 

Although this isn’t our usual video clip with all the year’s photos and songs in the background as we usually have it (as I have no idea how to even use movie maker), I’ve decided to summaries one whole year in one entry because as you can see my boredom is killing me.

Let’s hear me blabbing about my life, starting from…

Well, heading off as VCE was a big starter as most of us had experienced completing a first unit 3&4 this year. Most of us had encountered our stress levels as SAC was haunting constantly and exams in the end, which left me shaking haha At least, well I hope we don’t need to climb that hideous starts up the ngali centre ever again with our jam pack books breaking our backs in our bags! I wonder how I’d be next year, I can predict wearing my glasses every day, bag all full with textbooks and trying to being the ultimate “nerd wannabe” !

I’m starting to panic about year 12 when An wrote the email, referring the particular year as
“the one year in our life that our future depends on”. Then I read a quote from somewhere that made me motivated quite frankly

The winner says “it may be difficult, but it’s possible”

So a.m.a.n.d.a.h, “fight-oh” for the last year of being as a group together!

I think our group has truly become a closer and stronger friendship group. Yes angela your goal has pretty much happened throughout the year I hope =] hopefully we would enjoy one more year together of just mucking around and having fun! Plus I love our friendship bracelet, it’s so pretty!!!!

And let’s all hope an would still be over angela by 2009! as if it will ever stop, why am I hoping what’s not possible in that corrupted mind of hers  =P everyone hit her each time she touches one of us!!!

Hrmm this year we went to all sorts of places like rialto tower, flinders park, brighton beach, open days (tax all the blue&green balloons!, “did anyone say free popcorn and nutrient water??” … run!), hp, marian formal (gotta love the limo <3 and how random was it making at pit stop at highpoint, all because we were thirsty? =] and Melrose and I reinacting kevin’s dance move), cocktail prom (the food was the … wait for it (Barneys style)... BEST!!! =D and angela, remember on the dance floor when we first saw a lesb couple kissing we were like “wtf???”, then turned around on the exact spot and saw another lesb couple  kissing LMAO we were indeed trapped in this scary dance floor society*shivers*) , Melrose’s music performances (we all remember the moment Melrose got off the stage and singing “you raise me up” to jack! poor little bugga =D), the temple festival (handing out lanterns to children, and one for myself! “tet trung thu!”), crown, taekwondo dinner thingy (it was indeed not semi-formal *cough nhu cough* ==’’, as mostly everyone wore casual in the hall while our table wore all dresses, how odd did we feel that night, but how hilarious was the video clip “the bullying one” with the basketball and 3 bullies! + Melrose was like “woah an looks HOT… on an angle” lol), nhus birthday party at flinders (water fight!!! Kevin having a full water bottle while nhu’s response o_O” which therefore left her drenched the whole day and sick the following days), an’s birthday at crown (twilight = huong and Melrose dream come true = Edward Cullen <3) ... and plenty more =]

Must congratulate the dance crew for sure, you and your sexy body rolls =P im talking about you angela!  You guys pretty sure know how to dance, as for me soccer last year was pretty much enough, draining out all my energy level! I need a new hobby next year… I can’t wait till footscray festivals as Melrose, nhu and I can watch the performances if everyone is still continuing the dominate pulse crew. Asian festivals, here we come!

We had the chance to meet diep’s friends this year, like kevin, nick, adrian … and they pretty much hanged out with us quite a lot. You guys are pretty awesome*thumbs up* everyone can admit kevin’s hugs are pretty much the hug of death lol my back felt like cracking at once stage.  Plus Nick, your skateboard skills are so extreme&mad, I’m still trying to improve my jumping skill (olly?) but hopelessly fall whenever I’m trying to accomplish it.  This year I think I fell off my skateboard so many times I’ve lost count. The longest time I’ve skated was 2 hours with Dung while she jogged. It was undeniably tiring ><  Now skating was my initial hobby for 2008 but I completely failed, hopefully I’ll think of a better hobby for 2009.

As for my family Cindy is starting kindergarten next year, she would beat all the children because we’ve already taught her how to write, read, talk English and she’s already acing colours and numbers. Let alone she’s only four!  If you visit my house, you would constantly hear her sing lady Gaga’s wacky songs,  dora the explorer and pokemon LOL  As dora the explorer is kinder an interactive show which teaches you learn, I noticed that the character always talks in Spanish too o_O I hear my little sister talking Spanish quotes sometime  like “voi bene, santé santé ” (sounds Italian though) and think to myself err  …..‘what the hell???’

 she’s certainly growing up faster than I thought. Julies going to be in grade 4 and tina’s in grade 3 next year. Oh yer I brought cindy to her orientation at the kindergarten last time and as I predicted most children would never want to be left alone, cindy in other case told me “chi huong go home, and pick me up later okai” o_O’’ I replied “cindy I can’t leave you here, it’s only your look around day” and she was mad at that point.

And to anglea and nick, you guys are cute! No Melrose, stop trying to tax him, go for jack instead *wink* I’m looking around my room and notice I have a load of ft island and Pikachu posters up. I love my Pikachu collection, it varies from Pikachu keychain on my phone, Pikachu plushies, reversible Pikachu that turns into a pokeball and most of all, pikachu posters <3 shh im still a child inside, even though im considered the oldest  =]. My ultimate goal for next year’s year 12 muck up day is to dress up as Ash from pokemon! Let’s hope I will succeed.  An, remember when you printed choi minhwan poster, you said when I wake up and look at his face I would say “goodmorning choi minhwan!” when you told that I laughed hysterically.

But our biggest obsession, which all started when we started reading the twilight collection, being mesmerized by the perfection of Edward Cullen!  We all question to ourselves, is there even anyone in this world as perfect as he is? The movie was totally …. Awesome!!! Unlike some people that didn’t like it *cough cough* but Melrose, we both agreed that, it was the best!!! <3

And also about my Christmas, as usual it was the usual opening presents in the morning. As my little sister still believes in santa, my older sis and I bought them each a gift! They were suspicious though but loved the present in the end. And to glorious free public transport on that day (yes im a cheap asian), I brought all my little sisters to 2 particular parks, hopefully they had fun. I love the swing, it makes me feel like im on top of the world =] My boxing day was okai, went shopping with older sis. I bought so much stuff and it only all added up to abt 60 bucks =D my biggest sale item was a mooks bad, which the original price was 60 but I purchased it for only 15 ^^

I guess this entry is just a memory lane and hopefully I’ll enjoy my summer holiday this year. It’s the only freedom ill obtain until entering the devastating year 12.

Let’s enjoy 2009! I’ll miss 2008 memories but 2009 would be better. Here we come once again! Not sure if I’m going to planning to post anymore entries to my live journal next year, guess you’ll just have to wait and see.

im in the VCE centre now, the building looks pretty modern.  But year 11 is upstairs...  i have a fear of stairs, from childhood memories but weirdly im not afraid of heights
My homeroom is 11 Stephen, and my classroom is located on the front side of the building! Which means i can see the scenery of the whole school ^^  Standing in that building makes me feel that im the king of the ... school! im so happy reuniting with my friends again, its been ages since the last time ive seen them. back to being happy now! An and Melrose came back from vietnam and they bought us gifts!!! i got a yellow cat bag from annie (which carries my mp3 now because its perfect size) and a coded diary from melrose! thanks you guys! well the school day ended at 12:30pm, lucky hey! i went highpoint with angie and diep afterwards! oh yer also it was my friend, also known as lunchbox's one month anniversary with her bf! they are the cutest couple ever, congrats!

im chatting to my sister now, and believe it or not, she's at japan now. since its winter over there its like below 0 degrees. i wish i was there =='' shes coming back in 3 days!!!

Foots fest was ... fun XD The rides was hectic, crazy but fun at the same time. The upside down ride felt so sickening but letting go of your hand and leg make it extremely more fun!
The other ride that i went on was the up and down ride, it looks like a octopus. At one stage i nearly got off my seat because it went too fast.
I didn't come home empty handed, thanks to someone =D the purple toy was huge and now it sits on the top of my desk. The plushie had a hole underneath and all night i had to secure it so no foam goes free! The toy said kiss me, and at one stage some stranger came towards me and said "oh it says kiss me hey" i turned my toy, facing towards me and walked away LOL 
lets just say foots fest was asians galore, 
"never seen so much asians in my life" 
reply "but you are asian!"
it was a fun day, but a long nigt that day!

I also went Lunar park last tuesday. we were all suppose to meet at 12 but it was delayed to 130. The rides was alright i guess. one ride, it span around and around until it went upside down, it was so freaky i felt like i was goin to fall down and die! When the ride ended standing on the ground felt quezzzy @_@

Kevin Rudd, our Prime Minister ey? Interesting, well at least John Howard got kicked out YAY. I’m so into politics now, after watching The Chasers War on Everything every single week.  So shattered now, since the season has ended  ><’’

The soccer tournament went alright I guess. Our team, the MCSK (use to be our school meaning Marian college strength and kindness that we took from our jumpers but we changed it to Marian college snobby kunts) played 4 matches in 2 weeks. Shattering we lost all the matches, but we tried so hard! The secret of soccer,  “Look for Options Options Options!!!”

In two days, the semi final is on, inviting anyone to watch the game!

And on Friday is the grand final! Can’t wait!

Gosh I worked 10 hours this week! Amazing, because I don’t get rostered, yet they call me every single day ==. Just came home from work before, boy was it busy.

My throat feels dry, always saying “Welcome to McDonald may I please take your order” on the drive through machine!

On Wednesday this week my work friends invited me to go Lunar Park. Lunar Park… never been there before. About 10 people (all Asians) got together at Sunshine, and Lunar Park here we go!

Oh yer, once I went shopping with my friends, I found the cutest Pikachu plushie toy ever. Love at first site ^^. I proclaimed “I’m not leaving this store until I get my pikachu!”

I bought it!! It’s so cheap, only 10 bucks! Now I hold and hug it wherever I go, even hug it in my sleep ^^ its sooo cute! Its even here right now while typing this entry.

First week of the holiday was a blast, hope it continues this way =D.

im just on the computer now, while my legs are so sore because i just came back from soccer practise. ahuh diep forced me and others to come join this soccer team that occurs every Tues from 430 to 630. its a good experience and meeting new pple but its so tiring and exhausting. people who were there are mt st joseph, foots city, marian, marian, and was it also gilmore? well thers alot of schools, and today there were 23 students, all asian girls except for Monique. shes one of us =D i got tackled so much my leg is bruised now. i went two times already and plan to go every week from now on. even on holiday

im planning to go to this youth camp thats occuring next month, from Oct 12th to 14th Oct, yep Fri to Sun
its nothing related to school, but a camp to get to know other pple from other school
there will be arnd 20 girls and 20 guys, all asian and we are goin to Mt Evelyn!
well the people i know whos coming already are Suzanne, Phi, Diep and Me! classified as the noisy and mucking arnd people in viet class!
i can't wait until the camp, ill talk about it next time

hrm i never talked abt the social, what is there to say. it was fun i guess. we got ready at my house, arrived at st pauls hall at 7pm, played cards, danced a bit, played chasy, played volleyball with the balloon, watched the st pauls band sing 20 reasons which was awesome, camera fight angie & huong VS nam and hoang, stalked the yellow t-shirt guy the whole night (jk), got trapped by a circle formed by the guys (no one saved me, they just pointed and lauged =='') ate the gay food, and B_n kept on looking at Angie, i feel so sorry for her [pat pat] and i think thats all. i taxed the balloon decoration! well i asked the teacher though and he was like just take it. YAY its still in my room
i loved it, we shoulf have a social more often, wait we have a formal next year YAY

Something hold me back in my life these past months, but when I found out the truth recently, it made me realise how much time I wasted in my life, wanting for something that’s not there in the first place. I shouldn’t search for something that’s not realistic.
